Our Chinese programs are developed to help students to learn Chinese in a meaningful and fun approach.
Program 1 : 《成语大比拼》Chinese Idioms Game
Chinese Idioms game consists of 60 Chinese idioms, recommend by MOE.
Suitable For:
Primary 3 & 4 《成语大比拼一》
Primary 5 & 6《成语大比拼二》
Introduction to Chinese Idioms Game《成语大比拼》:
1. Know, expose, and experience
Card game created with characters from 60 idioms.
Students gain familiarization to these idioms and its characters by matching them in the game.
Through a 40 minutes game play, students are able to recognize these idioms and its characters.
Common word mistakes made by students are taught though disruptive cards (e.g. Disruptive card “和”, in idiom 志同道合).
2. Gain confident using idioms
Students will each have a game set.
Students once exposed to these idioms are more confident in writing and using it.
Pre and post test are conducted. Students with better results will be rewarded as encouragement.
Example of pre and post test:

- 不_ _ _ 正 无 业 务
3. Understand Chinese idioms
Before game play, we will explain the more difficult idioms that are not covered in
textbook with graphical illustration in a 20 min session.
We will also explain how these idioms can be applied in an interactive approach with students.
4. Apply and use
After activity time, we will conduct a post test for students to apply what they had just learnt.
Students will keep their own card set for play with their families and friends.
Course Fee : 2 lessons, 2 hrs each lesson (Include a box of card game).

Program 2 : Hanyu PinYin 《拼音大比拼》
Objective (Pinyin Game):
Enable students to learn and master Hanyu Pinyin in a fun way, through games and activities.
Introduction to Pinyin Game:
1) Suitable for K2 – P3.
2) Based on Primary School Chinese Syllabus (MOE), Level 1 – 4.
3) Designed by School Teacher from CHIJ (Our Lady Queen of Peace).
4) The game consists of 4 sets of 52 cards.
5) Players match the vowel n consonant to form Hanyu Pinyin and pronounce it.

Through 30 minutes game play, students are able to recognize these Hanyu Pinyin.
2. Easy way to learn Hanyu Pinyin
Students each will have a game set.
Students learn how to match Hanyu Pinyin & pronounce them correctly.
Pre/Post test, Assessment tests are conducted. Students with better results will be rewarded as encouragement.
After activity time, we will conduct a post test for students to apply what they had just learnt.
Students get to keep their own card set for play with their families and friends.
Upon school’s request, we also conduct inter-class competition as a form of
encouragement for students to play the game outside our training session.
Course Fee : 2 lessons, 2 hrs each lesson (Include a box of card game).
Program 3: “Chinese Show & Tell”
Objective: Learn technique for presentation, overcome fear in public speaking, build confidence to speak fluent Chinese during Show & Tell activities.
